Thresholds and lookbacks
For dollar and percentage conditions, choose greater than or greater than or equal to and a nonnegative threshold. At a $100,000 threshold, a $100,000 trade matches only the inclusive comparison. A 5% threshold compares the trade with 5% of account value or security ADV, as applicable. Recent deposits, account status changes, failed trades/proposals, and portfolio changes require a lookback in positive whole days. Tilt evaluates the window from the evaluation time minus that number of days through the evaluation time, including both boundaries.Evidence coverage
Tilt uses persisted proposal, brokerage, tax-lot, and configuration evidence. Missing trade USD valuations, account values, or positive volume history can prevent a numeric evaluation.
The absence of a recorded deposit, failure, or wash-sale conflict does not establish complete history. These conditions can remain Could not evaluate when Tilt finds no event. Status and portfolio-change checks also need a history baseline covering the start of the lookback to establish that no change occurred. Inspect each result’s evidence and missing-coverage reason before sending.
Annual capital gains is not an available condition. Projected gains in a proposal do not establish calendar-year realized gains.
