Ask Tilt Agent about a public company in chat. You can use a company name or ticker without attaching a Tilt, selecting a portfolio, or connecting a brokerage account.

1. Ask your question

Open a chat and describe what you want to understand. For example:
Include the period when it matters. You can ask in your own words; Tilt Agent finds relevant company evidence without requiring you to provide an article or choose sources. For a different research question, try:

2. Check the evidence and dates

Tilt Agent uses available company evidence, including filings and earnings commentary, to explain business results, outlook, and risks. It can use news to investigate a dated event. Coverage varies by company and period. Tilt Agent distinguishes reported results, management’s expectations, and its own interpretation. Review the sources alongside the explanation and follow the citations for claims that matter to your decision. For a price move, check the return period and the dates of the supporting evidence. A trailing-year return covers a different window from year-to-date. If Tilt Agent cannot verify the exact period you requested, it should name the period it can verify and explain the gap. Company results and announcements can help explain a price move. They do not prove how much each event contributed to the return. Tilt Agent can give a supported business explanation even when it cannot verify an exact return or establish the cause of the whole move.

3. Follow up in the same chat

Use a follow-up to examine a claim or change the comparison:
Tilt Agent compares companies against the same question and includes contrary evidence when examining a thesis. Use follow-ups to explore those findings and the questions the sources leave unanswered.

Investigate why a ticker was selected

If you want to understand why a ticker appears in a saved Tilt or an account, name that Tilt or account in your request. Tilt Agent needs its saved selection or account evidence to investigate that question. A company’s recent results alone cannot explain why it was selected. Start with the Tilt view for a saved Tilt, or advisor chats for a client account review.
